Holy crap, 95 weeks?
We intend to reopen (probably on a different server) fairly soon with changes!
1. We'd like to take on staff members. Lez and I haven't been able to devote as much time as previously assumed. In the spirit of friend-making and the like, we're offering the chance for anyone to be a contributer. Have a story you really want to recommend, but don't have anywhere to rave about its virtues? Have a new trend that pisses you off, but you have nowhere to rant about it? Want to make people really angry with your opinions? Send us an E-mail.
2. Feel like reading, but don't feel like wading through poorly-written excrement on Fictionpress or Fanfiction.net? Feel like you might be missing out on a good story because you didn't want to click on a shoddy summary? Once again, the Unsaid Reviewers are here to save the day! Check out our recommendation page for links/reviews of stories we would hate for you to miss out on.
New rants. New essays. New reviews. New subjects.
3. We're open to reviewing original fiction and fiction from other fandoms. That's where "staff" would come in since we're not experts on every fanfiction-writing fandom. Plus, more people to advertise equals more reviews.

So...
I just checked the TUR account, and someone used the "fic request" form to send hate mail.
To someone else.
People can't read anymore. I mean, "Liz/Lez" and "Stacie/Stocie" are everywhere on that fucking site, and some dipshit didn't read enough to notice that. I think that instead of insulting someone's writing, she should be working on her reading comprehension. Honestly.
Also, to quote one of our FAQ, her ass had to have done some clicking, right? Didn't the repetition of "we" tip her off? On top of that, this page is only a couple of links about the FAQ. I love people who strive to excel in asshatery!
The more I think about it and the more I look at the site, the more annoyed I get. I wish I could get on the program to make an update about that.

I really wanted us to get everything we had planned on announcing done so it could be a mass E-mail of freshness. Sadly, neither of us have really had time to do that. So, we'll just have to wait on that!
New Unsaid link, baby!
Yes, that part after "tur" is familiar for a reason. Tygerlily is an amazing, beautiful, brilliant, lovable woman with hair that sparkles in the sunshine and eyes that shine like diamonds. She gave us a lovely little space of web all our own and we love her and are forever indebted to her for it. (There was also this part in the contract to always suck up to her, whether she wanted it or not. :p)
Okay, so it took forever and we decided to throw out the fics that had already been sent in. SO, if you want to send in a fic for reviewal, feel free.
Why would we do that? Well...it's been a while and most of the people who sent something in probably have forgotten. Plus, the fic that you were most proud of then is probably one you cringe at now.
So yeah, check out the new site (for rules and a couple of new rants and such) and be warned that we plan on mass updating at least once every two weeks.
Ah yes, I said something about a hatelisting, correct? Bam! - Tor has graciously offered to host it on her main site until she switches domains and hooks us up with a sub. She also made that kickass picture, so be sure to check that out and talk about how great it is on the tagboard. ;) And joining would be great. :p
(*Side note: Sarah AKA Spoiledsquish made us a fanlisting a while ago, but we haven't gotten in touch with her to know if she still wanted to deal with that responsibility and Lez and I are in a hurry to get this announced, so if she'd like to comment on the LJ post that'll be up soon or E-mail or whatever, that'd be great. :p)

Okay...
So, we had decided on reopening on the 15th...but then that plan died because Lez was busy and I was lazy. Now we're aiming for next week.
Let's see...
Ooh, I finished a new rant. I can think of a few more than I need to do and post before we open. Lez probably can, too. :p
Our layout is up and finished.
We've changed domains.
We've decided to revamp a bit. That means we've gotten rid of the pages we didn't need. Also, we've added a FAQ page because we actually do need one.
There's really a lot to be done.
Ooh! And we've decided to put a reviewing/submitting policy. Look for that. :p
